EmuKing runs entirely in your browser. We don't have user accounts, we don't collect personal information, and your game files never leave your device.
Games you load are read by your own browser and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. If you choose to keep a game in the library, it is stored locally on your own device using your browser's storage (IndexedDB). Clearing your browser data removes it.
Battery saves, save states and cheat selections are stored locally on your device (browser localStorage and IndexedDB). They are not sent to a server. They stay in the browser you played in — use the Export .sav button if you want a copy you can move elsewhere.
This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted.
You can send a bug report at any time using the Report a bug button. A report contains only what you type into the form plus basic technical details shown to you before you send it: which page you were on, your browser version, your window size, whether a game was running, and any error messages the page recorded. Your game file is never included, and neither is your name or email unless you choose to type them in. Reports are stored privately on the site owner's own machine, are not public, and are not shared with anyone else. Your IP address is not stored with the report.
We do not run our own analytics or tracking scripts. Basic, non-identifying request information may be processed by our hosting/CDN provider (Cloudflare) for security and delivery.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
